Training Your Puppy – When to Begin

Owning a puppy is a great experience for both you and your family although this shouldn’t be seen as an object to entertain yourselves, but also as a fact that your family has increased in the number of members. * Build the confidence in your puppy by being proactive and not reactive.
* Focus on those commands and behaviors that are age appropriate and important to you as well. They are as follows: sit, down, walk on a leash, come when being called, no jumping, no biting, no nipping. Along with these the usual ones are crate and house training.

When reaching for training sessions, make all these in a funny manner. When your puppy is around 4 months or more and the vaccinations are completed for that age you should subscribe your pet dog to a group obedience lesson. Through this type of session he will learn how to control his reactions when being around other people and dogs. It is like teaching him good manners in society. At these types of sessions, your puppy will have the chance to play and develop his temperament in an environment other than his home place.
